“If I’d had access to something like Athletes Collective when I was starting my professional career, I honestly believe my journey would’ve looked completely different”
As a rugby league player, especially as a woman in the sport, I’ve always felt like we were playing catch-up. Whether it was gym access, coaching support, or just a place to properly recover, the facilities often weren’t there—or if they were, they weren’t built with us in mind.
We’ve come a long way, but the truth is, most of us still don’t have access to anything close to professional-standard environments. We bounce between local gyms, shared fields, and recovery tools that aren’t built for the demands of high-level sport. This holds players back from reaching their full potential.
It’s not a lack of talent. It’s a lack of infrastructure.
What if we had one place designed specifically for us—one that combined elite training, technical development, and recovery, all under one roof?
Athletes Collective is that place.
The facility includes:
• A Strength & Conditioning Zone kitted out with everything we need: squat racks, cardio machines, benches, weights, slam balls, and more—no compromises.
• A large, open Skills Zone and Wrestle Zone, allowing us to replicate game situations and focus on the rugby-specific skills that actually matter.
• Technique Stations with video analysis tools—so we can see our progress and adjust in real time.
• A full Recovery Suite with ice baths, sauna, and a physio zone, all critical for performance and injury prevention.
• Dedicated coaching, sled, and meeting areas, which make the space feel like a true high-performance hub—not just a gym.
Everything is designed with rugby league in mind, and more importantly—with athletes like me in mind.
If I’d had access to something like Athletes Collective when I was starting my professional career, I honestly believe my journey would’ve looked completely different. I wouldn’t have spent years piecing together training on my own, second-guessing my progress, or constantly feeling like I was behind.
This isn’t just about having a good gym—it’s about confidence, consistency, and community. For me now, Athletes Collective is a game-changer. I finally have a space where I can train hard, recover properly, and know I’m doing everything I can to level up. It’s helping me play the best rugby of my life.
Impact for the game going forward:
Athletes Collective isn’t just changing things for me—it’s changing the game for rugby league as a whole. By raising the standard of training and giving more players access to elite-level facilities, we’re building a stronger future for the sport.
This is especially massive for the women’s game. More young girls are stepping into rugby league than ever before, and they deserve more than just access—they deserve excellence. Athletes Collective gives them a place to grow, train like pros, and see a future in the sport that feels real and reachable.
